LANGKAWI 2018
[TOURIST SPOTS REVIEW]
Langkawi had always been in the top list of local destination to be visited because of its beautiful preserved nature, powerful history and also the tax-free advantage. Went here with friends in July 2018 during the semester break and I think the last time was more than 5 years ago 😅 A lot has changed but I must say the beauty of this place remains over years 💓✨
KILIM GEOFOREST PARK
One of the highlight of this trip was the Kilim Geoforest Park! We took a tour by boat around the top spots around the island for 4 hours and it was so much fun.

We book our tour guide through Fave app and what's good is you can request for an English speaking guider (I kinda like it bcs it's like listening to my lecturers in classes 😹). The tour was full of knowledge on geography, plants and animals. Among the spots we visited were Pulau Anak Tikus (Tikus is rat but there's none of it tho just the name), the bat cave (the bat were literally in there, sleeping 💤), crocodile cave (no crocodile in sight hahaa just the cave looks like one), floating restaurant for lunch (they also have like an open aquarium here, amazinggg) and a beach where we supposedly stop by but the flag was read so yeah no playing by the beach. Extra point for our tour was we were lucky to got to see the Fin-less Dolphin! Couldn't get a capture of it but it was such a priceless experience, the dolphin was cuuuuuute.

LANGKAWI SKY CAB
The trip is not complete if you don't pay a visit to the ever famous Langkawi Sky Cab. Yaa do come early if you don't want to queue for a long long one. One friend (not going to mention which one) was scared but was still doing it anyway because it may be her once in a lifetime visit 😂
The scenery at the highest point was mesmerizing, it's insane! You can have a view of the beautiful blue-greenish sea and also the city.

Well this place is not only offering cable car ride but it also has a small garden where you can play with fluffy rabbits for free and also feed them (of course you need to buy the food).

3D ART GALLERY
The gallery is located at the same spot as the skycab. It is pretty huge with a lot of arts painted all over the walls and the floors. All you have to do is to know the right point to shoot the photos, strike a pose and walla there you are, Instagrammable! 😆🙌

UNDERWATER WORLD LANGKAWI
This huge aquarium place features a lot of plant and animal species especially those living in the sea and it such a intellectual visit where you get to learn a lot of new things even though you had been living for over 20 years lol (that's us). There are specific hours allocated for feeding animals shows and such and we're lucky (again) that the showtimes fit our visit so we got to see the workers feed the stingray and penguin! 😜🐟🐧

FOOD FOOD FOOD
Finally here my ever favorite section to talk about yeah the food! Langkawi is forever famous for its Laksa and Rojak. Among the famous Laksa stalls are those selling by the beach near the LGK Airport. There are a lot of stalls to be chose from. Well nothing beats the feeling of enjoying the foods completed with fresh coconut drink while chilling by the beach Uh good good one. Then for dinner, we tried out seafood meals and also went to the weekly night market 🍚🍲🍢

There are actually a lot more Langkawi has to offer but the time is our constraint thus we cannot be covering all over the island for just 3 days and a half. Nonetheless, it was good to be visiting this beautiful island again after years. I hope that this entry get to help you out to plan for your next holiday visit!
